Admission

New Britain residents who are at least sixteen years of age and no longer enrolled in school may participate in all programs. High school students who are sixteen years of age may participate in the enrichment program with the permission of their parents.

Enrichment Program Policy

The Adult Enrichment Program offers courses on a self-sustaining basis. Register early to ensure the course you want has sufficient enrollment to be offered. If the enrollment is insufficient to cover the cost of the course, the course will be cancelled and the fees received will be refunded.

Senior Citizens & Physically Handicapped 

New Britain residents (62 years of age and older) or physically handicapped individuals may enroll in two courses free of charge per school year unless otherwise noted ( No Senior Citizen Discount). Senior citizens and physically handicapped person must pay the materials fee or buy a book if required at the time of registration. All non-resident senior citizens will pay the resident course fee. All activities offered by the Adult Education Center are held in handicap accessible locations. Accommodations for individuals with a disability are available upon request.
