The New Britain Adult Education Center provides English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction that emphasizes life skills.  There are 3 levels of instruction are provided:  

• Primary Level:  This level class is for people who have little or no fluency in English.  Attention is given to learning basic English skills that permit increased self-reliance in speaking the language.
  
• Intermediate Level:  This level class offers the opportunity for the student to increase fluency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.
  
• Advanced Level:  The advanced level stresses reading and writing with increased attention to language structure, grammar, and punctuation.

Cost of ESL Classes

English Second Language classes are offered free of charge to residents of New Britain.

ESL Classes
